Malaga

Malaga [2007] is inspired by Quattrocento first Venetian writings and the letterforms reflect the latin mind. The family in 2 widths — normal & narrow — works equally in headlines thanks to strong shapes as well as in body text thanks to sturdy serifs wich help the legibility. The ornaments are directly inspired by the islamic-andalusian geometrical arabesques from Cordoba or Granada.
