FF Angkoon

FF Angkoon [2003] has been designed in Cambodia after working with Ladislas Mandel — french type designer well known for phone directories typefaces — on italian renaissance writings. So, Angkoon is filled with these mind: elegant, wide.
I wanted to design a font used in a book about Angkor temples but not a font with elements
of khmer writing (derived from Southern Indian writings) or reminding khmer architecture.  FF Angkoon is an elegant font as the Angkor Temples are. This font is interesting especially in titling with large serifs which link the characters togethers and in short texts.
